Aina Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to underprivileged community children, was established in December 2023.
Aina Foundation aims to work for children; our mission is simple yet profound: We believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every human being, and we are dedicated to promoting social justice and equitable access to education.
Despite Nepal’s constitutional guarantee of free and compulsory education, rural communities particularly in remote districts like Achham continue to face significant barriers: poor infrastructure, under-qualified teachers, lack of digital access, high dropout rates, and limited pathways from schooling to meaningful livelihoods. Girls, children from low-income households, and first-generation learners are disproportionately affected.
Gyan Ra Sīpko Bato meaning ‘Path of Knowledge and Skills’ is Aina Foundation’s flagship education and skills initiative, designed to address these challenges through a transformative 10-year strategy (2026–2035). The project reflects our conviction that true empowerment requires both academic knowledge and practical skills two paths, one journey.
